The family room is the most used room in the house year round. It is where we watch TV, eat casual meals, and frequently utilize the dining table as a home office. It is located off the kitchen, and exits to the two car garage. It is filled with natural light from all the windows. The only original piece of furniture in the room is the bertoia bench that we use as a stand for our TV. We really do struggle with floor coverings in our house. Check out the forever changing rug.

The Frost’s also spent a lot of time in this room, and the original shag-pile carpet had to be replaced. Banksy rolled in it and got some serious conjunctivitis. There was a lot of DNA in that synthetic pile it had to go.
